John Cage about silence
"I love sounds just as there are, and i have no need for them to be no more than what they are," says John cage who is very famous artist who really likes sounds. From the interview i watched in the class, I could feel that he is a person who really love every sound. I learned that sound can be longer, shorter and louder(etc). Also, he mentioned that all the sounds are unpredictable, so every sound is very interesting. He says silence and other sounds have more meaning than music has. From the idea, I learned that if people listen to other sounds carefully then they can feel many kinds of emotions more than they can feel from music.
